How Westmed collects and uses information obtained from its website
What information does Westmed collect?
On the top menu bar of all of our web pages, including this one, is a link to a page entitled “Contact Us.” The “Contact Us” page contains a form that you can voluntarily fill out in order to request more information from our Customer Service Department. There is also a blank field into which you can type your request and place any other information or request that you so desire. In addition, for our Vibralung Acoustical Percussor product, there is also a special contact form that requests additional information, even though it is all optional. We do not accept orders on this website and will not ask you for payment or credit card information.
What does Westmed use your information for?
If you place your name, address, e-mail address and other information in the “Contact Us” form, and hit the “Submit” button without adding any specific information in the blank field, our Customer Service Department may e-mail you back asking if you have a specific request for information that we can fulfill.
If you place your name, address, e-mail address and other information in the “Contact Us” form, and hit the “Submit” button and add a specific information request in the blank field or by checking one or more radio buttons, our Customer Service Department may e-mail you back with the specific information that you have requested, or refer your request to a sales representative for follow-up with you, or advise you that we are unable to comply with your information request, if that is the case.
If you place your name, address, e-mail address and other information in the “Contact Us” form, and hit the “Submit” button and add a specific information request in the blank field, our Customer Service Department may also record your name and address and information request in a database and share that information with one or more Westmed employees in the Sales and/or Marketing and/or Clinical Education Departments who may attempt to contact you.
How does Westmed protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter or submit your personal information. No record of your submission is maintained in the website files. The only record of your submission is in our separate off-line database in our Customer Service Department.
